MIDSIDE Control

Here is a quick and clean way to take control of your Mono and Side with my new Ableton Rack "MidSide Control"

Throw this on any sound or the master bus to control and automate the strength of you Mid and Side information!

Use this to automate right before your hooks/chorus/drops to then make your hooks/drops bigger by lowering the width macro then bringing it back to 100% when the hook/drop begins.

Use this to mix your sounds by determining what should be a side or mono element in your song.

This is the cleanest mid/side split so Download it first for you Rack to work. I used the VST version :)

MACROS:

1. Mid Macro control the Volume of the Mono signal. The more you go right with the macro knob the more power you are giving to your Mono signal. When you go left with the knob you are decreasing the mono signal leaving the sides to be more present.
2. Sides Macro controls the volume of you Side information. The more you go right with the macro knob the more power you are giving to your Side signal. When you go left with the knob you are decreasing the Side signal leaving the Mono signal to be more present. (You can make a mono check by going all the way left)
3. Flip between the two chains by just clicking them to view the "Gate" which is used just as a waveform tool to see the waveform of you M and S signal :)
